The process of innovation

The stages involved are as follows:

1)  After signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), we briefly assess the technical viability of the idea and prepare a preliminary estimate free of charge, in complete confidence.

2)  We can undertake a preliminary feasibility study in which we look for relevant patents, check for commercial products, and assess how the invention could be made".

3)  We agree on the Terms of Reference (TORs) of the contract, that is, exactly what we will do for you, plus a final estimate of costs. If you wish to proceed, we both sign the contract and the client pays 50% of the agreed final estimate."

4)  PES undertake to build, test and develop a working model which satisfies the Terms of Reference agreed upon in the contract.

5)  PES will write a brief report which will include suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the invention. We invoice for the remaining 50% of our fee.

6)  The client pays the remainder plus or minus any extra unforeseen expenses (which are only made with your previous agreement).

7)  PES will provide the client with the working model and the report.

8) Client may be interested to consider our promotional service also

How much?

Each project is costed individually. We make no charge for this. However, we do require 50% of the cost estimate to be paid in advance before we build a working model.

Guarantee

We only take on a contract if we truly believe that it is a technical viability and that we can successfully build a working model (sometimes at a smaller scale). We genuinely seek to do so at minimum cost. If the model does not work we will refund you completely. (NB we do not guarantee the commercial viability or success, only the technical soundness of our work).

Confidentiality

We promise to keep your information 100% secret and we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). We can provide one or we are happy to sign one prepared by the client.
