What can we do for you?

Bob Symes of Tomorrows World fame writes in his book "EUREKA! The book of inventing" that Rule 5 of his 10 Rules for Inventors is to build a working model. Mr Symes writes (p64):

"...It is quite astonishing how different the 3-D version of an invention can be from its 2-D representation on paper. This is where a working model comes in useful.."

Sir Alan Sugar wrote in his column A Spoonful of Sugar (Daily Mirror, Thursday, April 13, 2001):

"...It appears to me that you help in the development and making of prototypes. Our expertise lies in researching and developing ideas through the construction and testing of working models. We do not specialise in building pre-production prototypes as such. This comes much further along the line towards manufacturing. Neither do we produce thick, glossy documents to promote your invention. We simply make a technical assessment of the idea and then build one and test it.

Once you have protected your intellectual property rights (IPR) and you have a prototype we can assist you also with the promotion of your invention in several ways, such as: a page on our web site (see Businesss Opportunities page), and we have links with companies which can help you to present your project to investors and manufacturers

If you can build a working model yourself we suggest that you should do just that. However, perhaps you do not have the resources necessary to do this?

There have been many wonderful Inventions over the years that have improved the quality of our lives greatly. Other types of Inventions have failed to catch on but they all have one thing in common. Behind every single type of invention is a person who strongly believes in their product. This loyalty might be a touch misguided at times but if it weren`t for dogged determination a number of fabulous Inventions wouldn`t make the production lines. Take the television series Dragons Den for instance, it is full of people who have all sorts of Inventions which they try to impress the team of financial backers with. Where would the world be without Inventors? We`d be back in the dark ages; that`s where. Without Inventors we couldn`t have heating and lighting and the kids couldn`t be taken to school in the family 4X4. We have to admit that without Inventors in our lives, the world would be a very primitive place. More and more gadgets enter our lives every year and these have to be thought of somewhere. Teams of Inventors around the country come up with new ideas every single day and want to market them as quickly as they can.
