Problem to be solved:
Sometimes it is difficult to use a 3-pin plug because the socket is so positioned that the plug cable gets in the way. This is because all plugs have the cable vertically positioned.

Description of invention:
This invention is a very cost-effective and simple way to position the cable at 90 degrees from vertical. That is: the cable can be routed to suit the position of the socket and of other objects nearby.

Stage of development: Several prototypes have been built and tested successfully.
